Job summary

LKQ Europe is seeking a Duty Manager to join our Reading branch leadership team. You will oversee retail, warehouse and fleet operations, drive customer service excellence and lead a high-performing team across diverse functions.

You will coach staff, manage recruitment and performance, and ensure compliance with policies and health & safety standards while delivering strong branch results.

Qualifications

• Experience in supervisory or management roles within retail, warehouse, logistics or distribution.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Lead branch operations across retail, warehouse and fleet to ensure safety, efficiency and excellent customer service.
• Coach, develop and manage colleagues; participate in recruitment and onboarding.
• Maintain branch standards, policies and processes; manage stock accuracy and stock takes.
• Ensure pick-to-manifest targets and customer service SLAs are met; support Click & Collect and delivery operations.
• Monitor branch sales, costs, payroll and productivity; manage cash handling and stock controls.
• Promote a safety-first culture; ensure Health & Safety compliance and audits.
