Zusammenfassung

LKQ Europe is seeking an experienced Duty Manager to lead a busy branch, spanning retail, warehouse and fleet. You will coach and develop a high-performing team, drive safety and compliance, and deliver exceptional service to customers while achieving branch targets.

You will report to the Branch Manager and work with other Duty Managers to optimise operations, stock control and profitability in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifikationen

• Experience leading teams in retail, warehouse, logistics or distribution.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
• Experience managing KPIs and operational performance.
• Customer-focused mindset with drive to deliver outstanding service.
• Good knowledge of stock control and operational processes.
• Strong commercial awareness and ability to influence business performance.
• Flexible approach and ability to perform under pressure.
• Experience with fleet operations, inventory management or P&L responsibility advantageous.

Aufgaben

• Leading the operation: manage day-to-day branch activities across retail, warehouse and fleet.
• Coordinate resources to ensure smooth, efficient operations and excellent customer service.
• Drive operational excellence by upholding standards, policies and procedures.
• Manage stock accuracy, inventory control and stock takes.
• Ensure pick-to-manifest targets and customer service SLAs are met.
• Oversee returns, warranties and reverse logistics processes.
• Support Click & Collect and delivery operations.
• Ensure fleet compliance, vehicle readiness and operational efficiency.
• Lead people: coach, motivate and develop colleagues; conduct performance conversations.
• Assist with recruitment, onboarding and succession planning; build a positive culture.
• Deliver an exceptional customer experience: champion customer-first culture; resolve queries.
• Work with sales and ops teams to maximize opportunities; maintain branch presentation.
• Drive performance: monitor costs, payroll, productivity; manage cash handling and stock controls.
• Use KPIs and data for continuous improvement; support branch growth through ops and commercial awareness.
• Keep everyone safe: promote safety culture and ensure health and safety compliance; maintain audits and records.
