Job summary

Air Liquide seeks a Branch Operations Manager for its Manchester site. You will direct daily operations, manage sales activities, and lead a high-performing team to deliver excellent customer service while maintaining safety, compliance, and efficient stock control.

Your leadership will drive profitability and ensure high standards across delivery and yard operations. You will coordinate with sales and plant management, manage schedules and KPI tracking, and uphold road transport regulations.

Qualifications

• Experienced leader with a track record in distribution environments.
• Excellent communication skills to lead and motivate others.
• Experience in distribution planning and order scheduling.
• Knowledge of health and safety requirements (HASAW Act).
• ISO9002 knowledge is desirable; training will be provided.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining customer satisfaction.
• Full, clean driving licence.
• Forklift licence is desirable.
• Knowledge of administrative procedures and systems.
• Good telephone manners.
