Job summary

Air Liquide UK Limited in Manchester is seeking an experienced Branch Operations Manager to direct daily branch activities, drive profitability, maintain safety standards and lead a high-performing team. You will oversee sales and distribution of gas and hardgoods, manage KPIs, schedules, and compliance with road transport legislation, while building an engaged, One Team culture.

A full, clean driving licence is required; forklift licence is desirable, with strong leadership and customer service

Qualifications

• Experience leading and coaching others in a management or supervisory role.
• Strong distribution planning and order scheduling knowledge.
• Understanding of HASAW Act health and safety requirements.
• Experience with driving compliance and vehicle safety.

Responsibilities

• Direct and coordinate branch activities for sale & distribution of gas & hardgoods.
• Abide by Safety, Health and Environment policy to protect employees and customers.
• Deliver exceptional customer experience and drive satisfaction improvements.
• Review financial statements, sales and activity reports to identify efficiencies.
• Manage team, create work schedules and assign duties.
• Ensure compliance with processes & road transport legislation.
• Oversee delivery vehicles including road safety & load security.
• Record KPIs and branch-related metrics; monitor stock counts.
