Job summary

Scrivens Opticians & Hearing Care is seeking a Branch Manager to lead a dedicated team and ensure the branch delivers outstanding eye and hearing care while driving business growth. You will inspire staff, manage daily operations, meet sales targets and maintain high professional standards in a customer-focused environment.

The role requires strong leadership, excellent communication, a proactive problem-solving approach, and collaboration with optometrists and hearing aid audiologists to uphold

Qualifications

• Experience in retail management, preferably in optics/healthcare.
• Strong leadership and people-management skills.
• Customer-first mindset with excellent communication abilities.
• Commercial awareness and proactive problem-solving approach.
• Basic IT skills and familiarity with POS systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate the team to deliver outstanding customer service.
• Manage branch operations, meet sales targets, drive growth.
• Oversee staff training, coaching and performance management.
• Ensure customers receive expert eye/hearing care guidance.
• Oversee stock management, compliance and day-to-day efficiency.
• Support with Optometrists and Hearing Aid Audiologists to maintain clinical excellence.
• Engage with the local community to promote the branch and build relationships.
• Maintain compliance with company policies, health and safety standards.
