Job summary

Coventry Building Society is hiring for a full-time customer service role at the Chester area branch. You will help a diverse range of customers in a friendly environment, handle cash, process data accurately, and support admin tasks.

Standard hours are 8:45am–5pm, Monday to Friday, with a focus on delivering excellent service. The role emphasises being a people person, engaging with customers, and maintaining up-to-date knowledge of products and policies.

Qualifications

• Current experience in a customer focused role (e.g. retail, hospitality or call centre).
• Experience interacting directly with customers and providing a great service daily.
• Good attention to detail with experience processing customer data accurately.
• Computer literate with ability to navigate systems quickly and confidently.

Responsibilities

• Handle cash transactions accurately and securely.
• Take telephone calls for the Customer Service area.
• Assist customers with solutions and guidance in a friendly, efficient manner.
• Stay up to date with products, services, policies and procedures.
• Contribute to admin tasks and maintain records.
