Job summary

Nationwide Building Society is seeking a Customer Representative for our branch in Haverfordwest, Pembrokeshire. This permanent full-time role (35 hours per week, Monday to Saturday) involves assisting customers in person, over the phone and online, delivering clear, friendly service and guiding them to suitable banking products and digital tools.

You will join a multi-skilled branch team, with some days dedicated to phone support on savings queries when the branch is closed.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service is welcome but not required.
• Ability to listen and respond with clarity and empathy.
• Strong communication skills across in-branch, phone, and digital channels.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers and identify their needs, offering friendly, trusted help with banking.
• Process a range of transactions accurately while prioritising security and fairness.
• Guide customers to banking products and digital tools that fit their needs.
• Collaborate with branch colleagues to deliver excellent service during peak times.
