Nationwide in Birchington, Kent is seeking a Customer Representative for a permanent part-time role of 17.5 hours per week, Monday to Saturday. On some Tuesdays the branch closes to the public and you will primarily support customers via the savings line by phone.

You will help with everyday banking moments, guiding customers towards digital tools while delivering exceptional service. The role requires a friendly, patient approach and comfort with technology.

Qualifications

• No banking experience required; customer service experience helps.
• Comfortable using technology and digital services.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsabilités

• Welcome customers into the branch and understand their needs, offering trusted, friendly help with their banking.
• Handle a range of transactions and queries accurately while keeping security and fairness in mind.
• Guide customers through banking products and services that suit them and help manage their money with confidence.
• Work closely with colleagues to deliver excellent customer service, even at peak times.
• Follow procedures, spot issues, and escalate concerns to protect customers and Nationwide.
• Keep face-to-face banking meaningful and accessible on the high street, with care and integrity.
