Job summary

Nationwide in the United Kingdom is looking for a Customer Representative to join our branch in Easingwold. This 12-month fixed-term contract will be full-time, 35 hours per week, Monday to Saturday, with a requirement to be within a 45-minute commute.

You will deliver friendly, trusted guidance across in-branch, phone and online channels to help customers manage their money. Training is provided; you’ll be part of a local branch team focused on supporting customers with everyday banking

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service preferred.
• Strong listening and communication skills.
• Patience, empathy and the ability to adapt to different customers and situations.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers into the branch and understand their needs to offer trusted help with their banking.
• Handle transactions and queries accurately while prioritising customer security and fairness.
• Guide customers through banking products and services that fit their needs and help them manage their money confidently.
• Collaborate with colleagues to deliver excellent service, even during peak times.
