Job summary

Nationwide is seeking a Customer Representative for our Kettering branch. You will support customers in person, on the phone, and online, handling everyday transactions and queries with care and accuracy. The role is full-time (35 hours/week) and requires a 45-minute commute within the branch area.

Training lasts three weeks with minimal holiday; the team focuses on fair banking, customer-centric guidance, and helping customers manage their money confidently.

Qualifications

• Experience or passion to work in a customer service environment.
• Ability to stay calm under pressure in a busy branch setting.
• Comfortable engaging with customers face-to-face, on the phone, and online.

Responsibilities

• Deliver great customer experiences across a range of banking moments (in-branch, phone, digital).
• Welcome customers into the branch and understand their needs to offer trusted help.
• Handle transactions and queries accurately while prioritising security and fairness.
• Guide customers through banking products and services that suit their needs.
• Collaborate with colleagues in a busy branch to ensure excellent service during peak times.
• Follow processes, spot issues, and escalate concerns to protect customers and Nationwide.
