Job summary

Nationwide is seeking a Customer Representative for our branch in Winton, Dorset. You’ll welcome customers in person, over the phone and online, helping with everyday transactions and guiding them to banking services and digital tools.

You’ll be part of a local branch team, working full-time (35 hours per week, Mon–Sat) with a 45-minute commute required. No banking experience is necessary, but a customer-service mindset will help you thrive.

Qualifications

• No banking experience required; a passion for customer service helps.
• Ability to assist customers face-to-face, by phone and online.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to stay calm under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers into the branch and understand their needs.
• Handle a range of transactions and queries accurately, while prioritising security and fairness.
• Guide customers through banking products and services that suit them.
• Work closely with colleagues to deliver excellent customer service at peak times.
• Follow processes and escalate concerns to protect customers and Nationwide.
