Job summary

Nationwide in Rayleigh, Essex, is hiring a Customer Representative for a permanent, full-time role (35 hours/week, Mon–Sat). You’ll help customers in branch, over the phone, and online, delivering excellent service and guiding them through banking products. Training lasts three weeks with no holiday during this period.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers into the branch and understand their needs to offer trusted, friendly help with banking.
• Handle a range of transactions and queries accurately while prioritising security and fairness.
• Guide customers through banking products and services that suit their needs and help them manage their money confidently.
• Collaborate with colleagues in a busy branch to deliver excellent customer service, even at peak times.
• Follow processes, spot issues, and escalate concerns to protect customers and Nationwide.
• Keep face-to-face banking meaningful and accessible on the high street.
