Job summary

Alecto Recruitment is supporting a UK leading specialist in building energy management systems. The BMS Sales Support Engineer will work with the UK Sales Director for Major Projects and help drive sales by engaging consultants, contractors and end users across the region.

The role suits an ambitious engineer with an interest in transitioning into sales, offering a clear path to commercial leadership and business development within a dynamic energy management sector.

Qualifications

• Ambitious individual passionate about the BMS/BEMS sector.
• Desire to enter into sales.
• Some experience within the BMS/BEMS sector.
• Self-motivated, responsible and able to work independently.
• Excellent customer service and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with the UK Sales Director for Major Projects and support the sales department.
• Assist in targeting consultants, contractors and end users to secure BMS projects and energy orders.
• Develop relationships with consultants, specifiers and end users via technical presentations of integrated systems and building management products.
• Assist in the estimating process, pricing project works from £10k to £2m.
• The role is a stepping stone to a full commercial sales management or business development role.
