The Role
  • Manage the Building Management System (BMS) package for the project, ensuring integration with other systems
  • Oversee design reviews for compliance, functionality, and programme alignment
  • Monitor installation, commissioning, and handover of BMS systems
  • Implement quality assurance processes and maintain accurate documentation (O&M manuals, safety files)
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety standards on-site
  • Track project costs, manage variations, and support commercial teams
  • Facilitate structured communication between project stakeholders and attend progress meetings
  • Drive energy efficiency and sustainability through effective BMS operation
About You

To be considered as an BMS Manager, you will need to demonstrate :

  • Qualifications appropriate to the role
  • Ability to obtain / maintain CSCS accreditation
  • Strong technical knowledge of BMS platforms and integration with HVAC, lighting, and security systems
  • Proven experience in managing BMS packages within large‑scale M&E or construction projects
  • Ability to interpret and review design drawings and specifications
  • Excellent project management skills, including scheduling and resource coordination
  • Familiarity with commissioning processes and building regulations
  • Strong problem‑solving and decision‑making abilities under time constraints
  • Effective communication and stakeholder management skillsCommitment to health, safety, and quality standards
  • Understanding of energy efficiency principles and sustainability targets
