Job summary

Aspire Defence Services Limited (ADSL) is seeking a BMS Controls Engineer to join our team in a hands-on role focused on building management system troubleshooting, repairs, and performance monitoring at our Bulford site. You will work with senior engineers and contractors to resolve issues and improve reliability.

Qualifications

• Analytical problem solver who can work collaboratively and explain technical concepts clearly.
• Experience with building management systems, especially Schneider systems.
• BTEC Level 3 qualification in electrical engineering, electronic engineering, or controls.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot technical issues relating to building management and control systems.
• Carry out repairs to control systems and associated field devices.
• Monitor asset performance through system indicators and trends to provide accurate information to the back office.
• Identify recurring faults and implement long term solutions while escalating lifecycle replacement needs.
• Liaise with senior engineers and specialist contractors to resolve complex issues and improve system performance.
• Identify opportunities to improve maintenance delivery, energy efficiency, heating and hot water control.

Salary: Up to £50,800 per annum

Hours: 37.5 hours per week, no weekends

Your Role:

• You will be troubleshooting technical issues relating to building management and control systems.

What We’re Looking For:

• Qualifications: You will hold a BTEC Level 3 qualification, or equivalent, in electrical engineering, electronic engineering, or controls.
• Experience: You will have experience with building management systems, particularly Schneider systems, together with an understanding of industrial fire, heating, ventilation, air conditioning, heating and hot water control systems.
• Skills: You will be an analytical problem solver who can work collaboratively with others and explain technical concepts clearly.
