Job summary

Americold Logistics, LLC. is seeking a Warehouse Operative for its Spalding site. You will work in the Blast Freeze section handling a mix of general duties and forklift responsibilities in a temperature-controlled environment.

The role requires prior warehouse experience, attention to detail, teamwork, and the ability to stay calm under pressure. Forklift training can be provided, with a Sunday-Thursday schedule from 7:00am to 5:00pm.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.
Good attention to detail.
Ability to work well as part of a team.
Ability to remain calm under pressure.
Flexible approach and willingness to adapt.
Good communication skills.

Responsibilities

Loading and unloading trucks as required.
Transferring pallets to designated storage areas.
Operating within the Blast Freeze area, ensuring product integrity.
Receiving and dispatching pallets via WMS using handheld scanners.
Following all SOPs.
Carrying out general warehouse duties, including manual handling and product handling.
Supporting packing and preparation of products for distribution.
Adhering to HACCP food safety standards and company procedures.
Maintaining high standards of health & safety.
