Job summary

Americold is seeking a Warehouse Operative at our Spalding site to work in the Blast Freeze section. This role involves general operative tasks and forklift duties in a temperature-controlled environment.

Key responsibilities include loading/unloading, pallet transfers, WMS-based receiving/dispatching, and adherence to SOPs, HACCP, and health & safety standards. Hourly rate is £13.13 with a weekly shift premium, working 7:00am–5:00pm, Sunday to Thursday.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in warehouse/manufacturing environment.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work well in a team and communicate clearly.
• Flexible approach and ability to adapt to tasks.

Responsibilities

• Loading and unloading trucks as required.
• Transferring pallets from loading bays to designated storage areas.
• Operating within the Blast Freeze area and maintaining product integrity.
• Receiving and dispatching pallets via WMS handheld scanners.
• Following SOPs and HACCP food-safety standards.
• Carrying out general warehouse duties and health & safety duties.
