Job summary

Americold is seeking a Forklift Operative for our Spalding site. You will handle general operative duties and forklift tasks in a temperature-controlled environment.

You will load/unload, transfer pallets, use WMS with handheld scanners, follow SOPs, and support packing for distribution while upholding HACCP and health and safety standards.

Job description

Here at Americold, we are recruiting for a Forklift Operative based at our Spalding site.

In this role you’ll be responsible for a mix of general operative and forklift duties in a temperature-controlled environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Loading and unloading trucks as required
• Transferring pallets from loading bays to designated storage areas
• Operating within the warehouse area, ensuring product integrity is maintained at all times
• Receiving and dispatching pallets via Warehouse Management System (WMS) using handheld scanners
• Following all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
• Carrying out general warehouse duties, including manual handling and product handling
• Supporting packing and preparation of products for distribution
• Adhering strictly to HACCP food safety standards and company procedures
• Maintaining high standards of health & safety at all times

Working hours*

Monday - Friday (8am - 6pm)
