Immunocore is seeking a Senior Scientist I - Characterisation in Oxford. You will conduct peptide mapping (LC-MS/MS) and mass spectrometric analysis of recombinant proteins, assess post-translational modifications such as glycosylation, and lead protein characterisation studies across microbial and mammalian systems.

You will develop characterisation methods for ImmTAX programs, contribute to stability studies, and author protocols and reports.

Qualifikationen

• Essential: peptide mapping by LC-MS/MS and mass spectrometric characterisation of recombinant proteins or antibodies.
• Essential: glycosylation analysis of recombinant proteins or antibodies.
• Independently coordinate extensive testing of protein biomolecules.
• Characterisation of proteins expressed in microbial and mammalian systems.

Aufgaben

• Support drug substance and product impurity characterisation and identification.
• Contribute to development of characterisation methods for ImmTAX and products (peptide mapping, intact mass analysis).
• Design and perform biochemical characterisation, chemical stability and comparability studies.
• Write study protocols and reports; present findings to teams and partners.
