Location: Surrey

Start Date: January 2026

Contract: Full time (Maternity Cover)

Salary: £34,397 - £52,489 per annum (depending on experience)

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Teach Biology across KS3 and 4, with the opportunity to teach Combined Science where appropriate.
  • Deliver engaging, practical, and thought‑provoking lessons that spark curiosity about the natural world.
  • Use effective assessment to inform teaching and support all students to make excellent progress.
  • Contribute to the ongoing development of an innovative, knowledge‑rich Science curriculum.
  • Participate in departmental and whole‑school initiatives, enrichment clubs, and curriculum development projects.
We’re looking for a teacher who:
  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and has strong subject expertise in Biology.
