Sue Ryder Bike Upcycling Workshop in Luton is seeking a Shop Supervisor for 15 hours per week. The role focuses on bike repairs, customer service, and leading a small team in a charitable retail environment.

You will manage repairs, stock, and EPOS while driving shop performance and community engagement. Shifts include weekends, aiming to deliver great service with responsibility and enthusiasm.

Formación

• Passion for cycling and delivering outstanding service.
• Proven experience as a Bike Mechanic; Cytech Training provided.
• Strong knowledge of bike components and mechanics.
• Basic IT skills (emails/instant messaging/video calls).
• Excellent problem-solving and attention to detail.
• Experience working alone.

Responsabilidades

• Repair, service and build bicycles of various types to high standards.
• Keep workshop clean, organized and stocked with tools/parts.
• Provide excellent customer service and bike maintenance advice.
• Drive sales and shop performance through retail experience.
• Support and motivate volunteers to deliver great service.
• Build community relationships to source good donated stock.
• Recruit and train volunteer team members.
• Maintain merchandising, housekeeping and health & safety standards.
• Manage stock and EPOS processes to keep the shop fresh.
