Job summary

Sue Ryder Care in Garstang is seeking a Shop Supervisor for a part-time role (15 hours per week) with weekend on-rotation, starting shifts at 8.45am and finishing around 5.15pm. You will support the store manager, lead the team, drive sales and income, and help deliver high-quality customer and donor service while promoting the Sue Ryder brand.

You’ll recruit and train volunteers, manage stock and EPOS processes, maintain merchandising standards, and build relationships with the local community

Qualifications

• Experience leading a team in a retail setting.
• Ability to recruit and train volunteers.
• Weekend on-rotation availability.
• Customer service and stock management awareness.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales, income and performance against targets.
• Support and motivate the team to provide excellent service to customers and donors.
• Build community relationships to generate quality donated stock.
• Help recruit, train and retain volunteers.
• Maintain high merchandising, housekeeping and health & safety standards.
• Manage stock and EPOS processes to keep the shop fresh and well presented.
• Champion Sue Ryder brand in-store campaigns and fundraising initiatives.
