Job description

Responsibilities

• Stakeholder management and build the bid libraries that drive future success.
• Ensure all submissions meet fire certification standards and industry regulations through compliance management expertise.
• Support contract negotiation processes and maintain bid management software and CRM systems.
• Juggle multiple deadlines while maintaining high standards that win contracts.
• Use strategic thinking and exceptional proposal writing skills to position the company ahead of competitors.
• Manage the complete bid lifecycle from opportunity identification through to contract handover, including monitoring OJEU portals, responding to PQQs, and overseeing tender development.

Qualifications

• Proven bid management, proposal management, or tender coordination experience.
• Track record of winning proposals in the fire safety, fire protection, or construction industry.
• Comfortable managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent technical writing and communication skills.
• Proficient with MS Office Suite, SharePoint, and ideally InDesign for proposal formatting.
• Experience with bid management software and CRM systems.
• Knowledge of fire safety systems, life safety systems, fire engineering principles, and building services.
• Understanding of fire safety compliance requirements, NFPA standards, and BS 5839 regulations.
• Drive to succeed in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment.
• Experience in pre‑sales activities, tender management, and fire risk assessment knowledge (highly valued).
