Job summary

East and North Hertfordshire Teaching NHS Trust is recruiting a Renal Network, East of England Business Intelligence Developer to provide data and insight for monitoring long-term conditions, health inequality and remote monitoring, and to support virtual wards and service redesign.

You will link patient-level data from multiple sources using SQL Server, create dashboards in Power BI and Tableau, and translate analyses into actionable messages for programme leads and NHS England objectives.

Qualifications

• Substantial experience using patient-level datasets from performance, quality and clinical sources.
• Ability to link data from multiple sources and perform in-depth analyses.
• Experience with SQL Server data warehouse and reporting tools (Power BI and Tableau).
• Ability to translate analyses into actionable messages for commissioning and care pathway redesign.
• Experience with health inequality monitoring and transformation programmes.

Responsibilities

• Identify trends, root causes and opportunities to tackle health inequalities.
• Develop systems and processes to support programme functioning.
• Deliver tasks from the programme plan on time and within quality standards.
• Collaborate with partners and external providers of information.
• Use analytical techniques to inform NHS England core objectives.
• Ensure analytical resources focus where impact is greatest.
