Job summary

East Lancashire Hospitals NHS Trust is seeking a BI Analyst to join our expanding Business Intelligence team. You will support clinical and operational teams, working to meet statutory reporting responsibilities and deliver insights to external partners and national bodies.

You will access training, flexible and agile/home working options, and the opportunity to develop skills across SQL, ETL (SSIS/SSAS), and data visualization within a collaborative NHS environment.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of NHS data handling and reporting workflows.
• Familiarity with SQL and ETL processes.
• Willingness to learn data visualization tools and BI concepts.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily assistance to Senior Analysts and prepare reports for internal and external stakeholders.
• Support statutory and internal reporting deadlines across daily/weekly/monthly/quarterly cycles.
• Develop and extend data sources to deliver standard information for users of the service.
