Job summary

Norfolk and Suffolk NHS Foundation Trust seeks a Business Intelligence professional to support modernisation of BI services across the Trust. You will develop clear, reliable reporting to support clinical services, management teams and organisational decision-making.

Using T-SQL, Power BI and SSRS, you will analyse complex data and present meaningful information, working with the BI team to meet rising data demand and drive service improvements.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent in a discipline involving data analysis, data presentation, data manipulation, computing or numerical subjects.
• Experience with information systems and data analysis is acceptable as an alternative.
• SQL Server qualification or practical experience is required.
• Experience using T-SQL or similar query languages.
• Proven ability to analyse data and present information clearly.
• Ability to design reports with clear visual communication.

Responsibilities

• Analyse complex datasets and produce meaningful BI reports.
• Design, develop and maintain reporting solutions using T-SQL, Power BI and SSRS.
• Extract, manipulate and interpret data from organisational databases.
• Present data through reports, dashboards, and visuals for decision-making.
• Support clinical and operational teams with accurate information for decisions.
• Respond to information requests from multiple departments.
• Identify trends and variations in performance data.
• Ensure reports are accurate, timely and meet deadlines.
• Contribute to BI service modernisation and improvements.
