Job description

Currently seeking a Benefits Analyst for an exciting opportunity within the benefits division of a US brokerage agency in Warwick, RI. Offices are throughout New England, but this position would report to the Warwick office. The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree with advanced Excel skills.

Responsibilities include:

1. Proficient in Microsoft Office, with advanced Excel skills.
2. Complete several Excel-based proposals quickly and error-free.
3. Multi-task while maintaining accuracy.
4. High degree of attention to detail; accuracy in this position is critical.
5. Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
6. Work in a fast-paced environment.
7. Work in a team environment.
8. Interact by phone with clients to obtain census data information.
9. Review and correct any discrepancies with census information by corresponding with clients and verifying information from client carrier invoices.
10. Access several internet-based quoting sites to obtain rates.
11. Verify accuracy of rates obtained from sites.
12. Ensure output is error-free.

Requirements of the position:

1. Bachelor's degree or similar work experience.
2. Completely proficient in Excel.
3. Ability to maintain a critical focus on accuracy.
