Job summary

Five Guys UK is seeking a Bench General Manager to oversee a store, lead and coach the team, and drive profitability with a strong focus on customer service. You will be hands-on on the shop floor and own the store’s day-to-day operations and strategic planning.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading restaurant teams and coaching staff.
• Demonstrated ability to manage profit & loss and drive store sales.
• Strong customer service focus with a track record of delivering results.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage the store team to deliver perfect burgers and fries.
• Lead from the front, working on the line when needed and ensuring smooth operations.
• Own the P&L and drive sales while controlling costs.
• Oversee day-to-day operations and long-term planning for store performance.
• Identify talent, develop your team, and maintain a strong talent pipeline.
• Embed Five Guys culture by role modelling values and recognising achievements.
• Create a positive, fun working environment with high standards.
