Job summary

Europa Worldwide Group is seeking a confident Business Development Manager for our fast-paced Road Freight division. You will develop and maintain your customer base within your allocated area, using telesales, site visits, and quotations to grow monthly GP targets.

After six months you will hand the account to customer service while continuing to win new business. A full UK driving license and a passion for sales are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Must be confident, sales driven and customer focused.
• Full UK driving licence is required.
• Passionate about sales and providing excellent service.
• Ability to work under pressure in a targeted environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain your customer base within your area.
• Source sales leads using the in-house CMS or other sources.
• Make outbound telesales calls to profile and qualify prospects.
• Visit potential customers and prepare quotations.
• For first 6 months, manage accounts to grow business, aiming to become sole supplier.
• Maintain regular contact to grow opportunities within existing accounts.
• After 6 months, hand account to customer service while winning new business.
