Job summary

MCR Property Group is recruiting a Quantity Surveyor to support commercial and financial delivery on a Bedford project. You will manage cost reporting, forecasting, and subcontract packages, working with Project Managers and the Board to maintain budgets and programmes.

The role is site-based with regular valuations and reviews, and requires strong Excel/Word skills and a full driving licence. We expect a minimum of three years as a Quantity Surveyor across various project types, with experience

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years' experience as a Quantity Surveyor across a range of project types and values.
• Experience within a developer, main contractor, or subcontractor environment.
• Proficient in cost plans and estimates, measurement for BOQ, tendering and procurement, value engineering, tender reporting, interim valuations, and final accounts.

Responsibilities

• Own monthly cost reporting and financial forecasting.
• Manage contract and subcontract packages and variations.
• Prepare cost plans/estimates and BOQs; support tendering and procurement.
• Lead interim valuations and final accounts.
• Collaborate with Project Managers and other Quantity Surveyors to control finances.
