Job summary

Claridge’s Spa, part of Maybourne Hotel Group, seeks a Beauty & Massage Therapist to deliver high-end treatments on a casual basis. The role emphasizes grace, warmth and serenity while guiding guests into a calm spa environment.

Applicants should have at least 2 years in a luxury spa, NVQ Level 3 (Level 4/CIDESCO/CIBTAC preferred), and broad massage expertise. Excellent personal presentation and strong guest care are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in the Luxury Spa Industry.
• Extensive knowledge in massage techniques (Swedish, Deep Tissue, Prenatal).
• Experience in skincare analysis and advanced facial techniques is preferable.

Responsibilities

• Carry out treatments to Claridge’s and Maybourne standards.
• Greet and anticipate guest needs within the Spa and exceed expectations.
• Support spa team to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Update guest records with treatments received.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene throughout the Spa.

As Beauty & Massage Therapist you will be responsible for:

• Carrying out treatments to Claridge’s and Maybourne standards and in accordance with the training given by the relevant product company and LQA/Forbes standards.
• To greet and anticipate the needs of all guests and members within any area of the Spa and exceed their expectations at every opportunity.
• To support spa team when needed to ensure the smooth running of the day.
• To update guest records with treatment received.
• To maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards throughout the Spa, throughout the day.
• To be knowledgeable about and able to promote all services within the Spa.

Successful candidates for our Beauty & Massage Therapist opportunity will:

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in the Luxury Spa Industry.
• Minimum NVQ Level 3, however, Level 4, CIBTAC and/or CIDESCO Qualification is preferred
• Extensive knowledge in massage techniques, including Swedish, Deep Tissue and Prenatal.
• Experience in skincare analysis and advanced facial techniques/technologies are preferable.
• The ability to deliver an exceptional spa treatment, adapting to individual guests' needs.
• Strong customer care and communication skills.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• A high standard of personal presentation.
• Confident, professional and welcoming personality.
