Job summary

Maybourne Hotel Group's Claridge's in London is seeking a Hotel Tournant on a casual basis to welcome guests in the lobby and deliver personalised service.

You will work within the Food & Beverage team across outlets, supporting reservations, promoting dining experiences, and building lasting guest relationships while upholding Maybourne standards.

Fluency in English required; experience in fast-paced luxury hospitality preferred; a passion for quality and guest satisfaction is essential.

Responsibilities

• Deliver an exceptional first impression by warmly welcoming guests, providing personalised service, and maintaining a visible presence in the hotel lobby and public areas.
• Engage with guests to understand their preferences and recommend appropriate dining and beverage experiences.
• Support reservations and guest enquiries, manage wait times, monitor outlet availability, and ensure a seamless guest journey.
• Promote hotel restaurants, bars, events, and seasonal offerings to maximise guest engagement and revenue.
• Build strong guest relationships by recognising VIP and returning guests and creating personalised experiences.
• Collaborate with Reception, Concierge, Reservations, Private Dining and outlets to coordinate bookings and guest requests.
• Maintain accurate guest profiles and reservation records in hotel systems such as ResDiary and Opera.
• Uphold Maybourne, Forbes and LQA service standards and manage guest feedback and service excellence.

The Claridge’s Food & Beverage department ensure the smooth running of all of our outstanding outlets within the hotel. As Hotel Tournant you will be responsible for:

• Deliver an exceptional first impression by warmly welcoming guests, providing personalised service, and maintaining a visible presence in the hotel lobby and public areas.
• Engage with guests to understand their preferences and recommend the most suitable appropriate dining and beverage experience.
• Support reservations and guest enquiries, manage wait times, monitor outlet availability, and ensure a seamless guest journey throughout the property.
• Promote hotel restaurants, bars, special events, and seasonal offerings to maximise guest engagement, occupancy, and revenue opportunities.
• Build strong guest relationships by recognising VIP and returning guests, anticipating needs, and creating memorable personalised experiences.
• Collaborate closely with Reception, Concierge, Reservations, Private Dining, and outlet teams to coordinate bookings, guest requests, and operational flow.
• Maintain accurate guest profiles, reservation records, reports, and relevant information within hotel systems such as ResDiary and Opera.
• Consistently uphold Maybourne, Forbes, and LQA service standards, manage guest feedback and concerns, and support continuous service excellence.
