Job summary

phs Wastekit is seeking a driven Business Development Consultant to grow the customer base across the North West. You will identify opportunities, nurture relationships, and close deals to deliver sustainable growth for the business in the UK.

You will work with the Regional Sales Manager and Field Account Managers to deliver the regional strategy, target new customers, and build a robust sales pipeline with accurate forecasting and professional representation.

Qualifications

• Proven track record in new business development or hunter-style sales.
• Experience delivering against demanding sales and growth targets.
• Strong commercial awareness and analytical abilities.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship-building abilities.
• CRM experience, ideally Salesforce.
• Proactive, resilient, and highly motivated approach.
• Experience across a large geographical territory.

Responsibilities

• Deliver the regional new business strategy alongside the Regional Sales Manager and wider sales team.
• Identify, target, and win new customers while successfully converting competitor accounts.
• Develop and execute strategic sales plans to drive territory growth.
• Build and maintain a strong pipeline of opportunities.
• Accurately forecast sales performance and revenue.
• Represent phs Wastekit professionally in all customer interactions.
• Focus on high-quality sales activity to maximise conversion rates and results.
• Maintain accurate records and activity updates through CRM systems.
• Build strong relationships with key decision-makers across a variety of sectors.
