GM Performance Power Units in Concord, NC is seeking a Battery Controls Engineer to develop and optimize embedded software for the HV battery management system and related components on the Formula 1 hybrid powertrain.

You will implement real-time control algorithms, perform MiL/SiL/HiL testing, and collaborate with controls and hardware teams to deliver robust, safe, and high-performance battery control solutions.

Qualificações

• Embedded software development for HV battery management and controls.
• Experience with real-time embedded systems in automotive/motorsport is preferred.
• Knowledge of safety standards and testing methods (MiL/SiL/HiL) is beneficial.

Responsabilidades

• Develop, test, and maintain embedded software in C/C++ for HV battery systems and related components.
• Implement real-time control algorithms and diagnostics for battery protection, SOC, and SOH.
• Coordinate with controls and hardware teams; perform MiL/SiL/HiL testing and trackside support.
