Job summary

The Celtic Collection is seeking a Bartender for Ty-Newport Hotel in Wales. You will be integral to a customer-focused culture, supporting the resort's values and profitability.

You will build strong relationships inside the team and with other departments, while upholding health, safety, and hygiene standards. With at least 1 year in food & beverage service and experience in a beverage-led environment, you will communicate fluently in English and participate in a supportive, inclusive

Qualifications

• Basic Food Hygiene Certificate
• Minimum 1 year experience in food & beverage service
• Knowledge of working within a beverage led environment
• Excellent command of English, written and spoken

Responsibilities

• Maintain a customer-focused culture aligned with the resort's values and business goals
• Establish and maintain effective relationships within the team and with other departments
• Comply with health and safety, hygiene policies and resort procedures
• Understand monthly budgets and contribute to achieving them
• Monitor and understand departmental performance controls

Job description

Be responsible for helping to maintain a customer-focused culture which support the values expressed in the Resort Ambition and the Resort's business goals of profitability and service quality.

Establishes and maintain effective and positive relationships within the team as well as other departments.

Complies with the resort's Health and safety, Hygiene policies as well as all other resort policies and procedures.

Maintains an understanding and acceptance of the monthly budgets and a motivation to achieving these.

Maintains an understanding of the controls in place that monitor performance of the Department

• Basic Food Hygiene Certificate
• Experience within a food and beverage service outlet for a minimum of 1 year
• Knowledge of working within a beverage led environment
• Ability to converse written and verbally in English
