The Celtic Collection is seeking a Bartender to join the Food & Beverage team at Coldra Court Hotel in Newport. This part-time role involves delivering friendly, professional bar service, serving a range of drinks, and contributing to a welcoming atmosphere for guests.

Ideal candidates will have hospitality experience, a passion for customer service, and knowledge of beverages. Flexibility for evenings and weekends is important to meet the needs of a busy venue.

Responsibilities

• Providing friendly, professional and efficient bar service to guests.
• Preparing and serving a range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.
• Creating a welcoming and enjoyable atmosphere in the bar and restaurant areas.
• Building positive relationships with guests and colleagues.
• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness, presentation and service.
• Following all health, safety and hygiene procedures.
• Supporting the wider Food & Beverage team to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
• Contributing to departmental targets through excellent service and upselling opportunities where appropriate.

Our Ideal Candidate Will Have

• Previousexperience working in a bar, restaurant or hospitality environment
• Apassion for customer service and creating great guest experiences
• Goodknowledge of beverages and bar service, or a willingness to learn
• Apositive, enthusiastic and team-focused attitude
• Excellentcommunication skills
• Flexibilityto work evenings, weekends and busy periods as required
• BasicFood Hygiene certification is desirable but not essential
