Hyatt Hotels Corporation's Great Scotland Yard Hotel in London is seeking a Barback with flexi hours to join our premium hospitality team. You will support bartenders, restock supplies, and help ensure smooth service while earning a hourly rate with service charge.

Responsibilities

• Support bartenders during service to deliver guest experiences.
• Restock spirits, mixers, glassware, ice and bar supplies.
• Prepare garnishes and maintain bar mise en place.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in bar and back-of-house areas.
• Assist with stock deliveries and inventory management.
• Wash, polish and replenish glassware.
• Monitor stock levels and communicate replenishment needs.
• Assist with basic drink preparation during busy periods.
• Manage waste and keep workspaces tidy.
• Collaborate with the team to uphold service standards.

Duties and responsibilities related to the Barback - Flexi Hours role

• Support bartenders during service, helping to deliver efficient and seamless guest experiences.
• Restock spirits, mixers, glassware, ice and other bar supplies throughout shifts.
• Prepare garnishes, refill ice bins and maintain bar mise en place to support smooth operations.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, organisation and hygiene across all bar and back-of-house areas.
• Assist with stock deliveries, storage and inventory management, ensuring products are rotated and stored correctly.
• Wash, polish and replenish glassware to ensure adequate supplies are available during service.
• Monitor stock levels and communicate replenishment requirements to the bar team.
• Support with basic drink preparation and ingredient retrieval during busy service periods.
• Manage waste and recycling, keeping workspaces, storage areas and service stations safe and tidy.
• Work collaboratively with bartenders and colleagues to uphold excellent service standards and create memorable guest experiences.

About You

Previous experience in a similar role within the premium hospitality segment is preferred. You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to anticipate guest needs and go the extra mile to exceed expectations.
