Job summary

Great Scotland Yard Hotel, part of Hyatt Hotels Corporation, is seeking a Steward (Kitchen Porter) to maintain cleanliness, operate dishwashing equipment, and support kitchen operations within a luxury London setting. Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of all kitchen areas, including equipment, utensils, and work surfaces.
• Operate dishwashing machines and ensure proper cleaning, drying, and storage of dishes, cutlery, and cookware.
• Assist in receiving, storing, and organising food supplies and kitchen equipment.
• Dispose of waste and recyclables properly while following hygiene and safety protocols.
• Support chefs and kitchen staff with basic tasks, ensuring smooth workflow during busy operations.
• Adhere to hotel/restaurant safety, hygiene, and food handling standards at all times.
