Role Purpose

To deliver friendly, high-quality bar service at Bank De León, a vibrant Wolverhampton bar inspired by Caribbean culture, music, and energy. Part-time Bar Staff play a key role in creating a warm, lively atmosphere while serving great drinks and providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities
Guest Experience & Caribbean Hospitality
  • Welcome customers with warmth, energy, and a positive attitude that reflects Caribbean hospitality.
  • Create a fun, engaging atmosphere and build rapport with guests.
  • Deliver attentive service in a fast-paced, music-led environment.
  • Promote signature cocktails, rum selections, and live music or event nights.
Drinks Preparation & Bar Service
  • Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks to Bank De León standards.
  • Mix cocktails accurately using set recipes and portion control.
  • Present drinks consistently and attractively.
  • Keep the bar clean, organised, and fully stocked during service.
  • Use the POS system accurately and handle payments responsibly.
Responsible Service & Compliance
  • Follow all licensing laws and responsible alcohol service guidelines.
  • Check ID where required and refuse service politely and professionally when necessary.
  • Comply with health & safety and food hygiene procedures.
  • Follow cash handling and security procedures.
Bar Operations & Teamwork
  • Assist with opening and closing duties, including cleaning and restocking.
  • Monitor stock levels and report shortages, breakages, or wastage.
  • Work closely with other bar staff, management, DJs, and security during busy shifts.
  • Follow management instructions and support smooth service at all times.
