Job summary

The Grand Hotel Birmingham, part of De Vere, is seeking a friendly Bar Host to welcome guests and set the tone for exceptional hospitality. You will manage reservations, assist with guest requests, and help create a seamless guest journey across service periods.

Typical shifts run 15:00-23:00 or 16:00-00:00, 24 hours per week with potential for extra hours. A competitive package includes service charge and staff incentives.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests with warmth and professionalism.
• Manage reservations from inquiry to seating and potential rebooking.
• Confirm bookings and dietary requirements in advance.
• Coordinate reservations and table availability to maximise covers.
• Assist Food & Beverage team to ensure smooth service.
• Deliver exceptional hospitality and memorable guest experiences.
