Job summary

The Grand Hotel Birmingham Limited is seeking a Bar Host to welcome guests and set the tone for warm hospitality in Madeleine, our Parisian‑inspired bar in Birmingham.

This part‑time role offers a 24‑hour‑per‑week contract with shifts typically 15:00–23:00 or 16:00–00:00, across weekdays, evenings, weekends and bank holidays. You will manage reservations, greet guests, and help ensure a memorable guest journey.

Responsibilities

• Create a warm, memorable first impression for every guest.
• Manage reservations from enquiry to arrival and seating, including rebooking when applicable.
• Confirm bookings and special requests in advance for personalised service.
• Coordinate reservations and maintain table availability to maximise covers.
• Support Food & Beverage team to ensure smooth service.
