Job summary

The Grand Hotel Birmingham is seeking a Bar Back to support our Madeleine bar team. You will help keep glassware stocked, assist bartenders, and ensure food and beverage service runs smoothly. The role offers flexible hours across weekdays, weekends, and bank holidays, with opportunities to learn within Grand Hospitality.

You'll work behind the scenes to maintain clean, well-organised back-of-house areas and collaborate with hotel staff to deliver excellent guest experiences.

Qualifications

• Ensure the bar is fully stocked with glassware and stock.
• Keep the bar and back-of-house areas clean, organised and always well maintained.
• Complete opening and closing checklists.
• Delivering food and drinks to the guest, paying particular attention to allergens, dietary requirements and occasions

Responsibilities

• Support bartenders and bar backs to meet guest needs.
• Assist with food service from kitchen to guest.
• Maintain stock levels and stock rotation.
• Work with bar, floor and kitchen teams to ensure high-quality service.
