Job summary

Eden Futures is recruiting Bank Support Workers to help adults with learning disabilities, autism, and mental health needs in Shrewsbury. You’ll support individuals in their own homes, helping them lead independent lives and participate in activities within the community.

We value you and offer development pathways, training, and recognition programmes. A driving licence is essential for this role, and the position is paid at £12.75 per hour on a Bank contract, with a £500 refer-a-friend bonus.

Responsibilities

• Support service users to lead a full and active life in line with their wishes and plans.
• Safeguard service users and report concerns promptly.
• Provide emotional support with a person-centred approach.
• Assist with personal care, daily tasks, finances and medication as needed.
• Be an informal point of contact for families and social workers.
• Record and report any issues to monitor health and wellbeing.
• Comply with Health and Safety regulations and promote welfare.
