Job summary

Eden Futures is recruiting Bank Support Workers to join across our supported living services, helping adults in their own homes and in the community. We value caring, compassion and a genuine desire to support independence, with pathways for development and awards to celebrate team achievements.

Salary is paid at £12.71 per hour; a £500 refer-a-friend bonus is available and sponsorship is not offered for this role. This is community-based care with flexible bank hours.

Responsibilities

• Support service users to lead a full and active life in line with their wishes and assessed needs, participating in care plans
• Assist to stay safe, take action to safeguard welfare and prevent abuse
• Provide emotional support with a person-centred approach
• Help with social activities, manage finances and medications, assist with practical tasks, and support personal care
• Be an informal point of contact for families and social workers
• Accurately report and record health and wellbeing issues to monitor status
• Comply with Health and Safety regulations and promote welfare
