Job summary

Eden Futures is recruiting Bank Support Workers to help adults with learning disabilities, autism and mental health needs in Wem and Oswestry. You will support independence, follow care plans, and promote wellbeing in service users’ own homes.

We value people who care, work well in teams, stay positive, and have a full UK Driving Licence. Bank roles pay £13.08 per hour, with a £500 refer-a-friend bonus and opportunities to learn and grow within our Platinum-accredited organisation.

Qualifications

• Experience in care is not required; Eden Futures recruits based on values.
• Ability to stay positive on challenging days and maintain a person-centred approach.
• Enjoys working in a team and supporting colleagues when needed.
• Full UK Driving Licence is essential for this position.

Responsibilities

• Support service users to lead a full and active life in line with their wishes and care plans.
• Support individuals to stay safe and safeguard their welfare.
• Provide emotional support with a person-centred approach.
• Assist with social activities, finances, medication, practical tasks, personal care, and health needs.
• Be an informal contact for families and social workers in the service users circle of support.
• Accurately report and record issues related to care and wellbeing.
• Comply with Health and Safety regulations and welfare of others.
