Job summary

Cygnet Healthcare in Long Eaton, near Nottingham, is seeking a Bank Support Worker to join our team. You will work flexible bank hours Monday-Friday, delivering compassionate support to people with learning disabilities and complex health needs.

You will need 1+ year experience in a learning disability setting, strong communication, and a caring, proactive attitude. An enhanced DBS check is required; training is provided.

Qualifications

• 1+ year experience in a support setting with learning disabilities.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Caring, energetic and empowering approach to support service users.

Responsibilities

• Provide guided physical and emotional support to service users.
• Learn and respond to individuals’ specific needs.
• Assist with medical and welfare needs as required.
• Report on medical and welfare needs when required.
• Safeguard all patients and maintain a safe, clean environment.
