Main duties of the job

As a UK Registered Nurse (RMN, RNLD, RGN), you\'ll have the flexibility and control to work the shifts you want, with access to available nursing shifts through an app. There is no minimum number of hours required, and you\'ll receive a two-week paid induction. The role involves providing high-quality, evidence-based care to individuals with neurological conditions, while supporting your colleagues and promoting good teamwork. Weekdays, nights and weekend shifts are regularly available, which are easy to view and book through an app. Within a few taps you’ll have the nursing shifts at The Bridge secured that you want.

Whether your nursing experience is from the NHS or private sector, you can join the team as a Bank Nurse with an hourly rate that includes a 12.07% uplift to cover annual leave, plus have access to a range of benefits including free meals on duty, free parking and more.

The service operates 24/7 with 12.5-hour standard shifts. As a nurse on our bank you’ll be on a zero hour contract, giving you the freedom to choose which shifts you want to work each week.

Where you will be working:

Location: Lower East Street, Middlehaven, Middlesbrough, TS2 1SW You will be working at The Bridge, a specialist inpatient neurological rehabilitation and complex care service. Working as part of a multidisciplinary team you will provide care and support for people with neurological illnesses, acquired brain and spinal cord injuries. As a care centre, this service is a home from home offering en-suite accommodation and spacious communal areas with dedicated therapy spaces, where truly person-centred care is delivered and where each individual is at the heart of everything.
