Job summary

Optegra Eye Healthcare is seeking an experienced Scrub Nurse to join our bank team at Wetherby Eye Hospital. The role offers up to £32 per hour, dependent on experience, and requires flexibility to cover shifts in York and Bradford.

You will work as part of a multidisciplinary team, delivering diagnostics, pre-assessment and post-operative ophthalmic care alongside clinicians and optometrists.

Qualifications

• Registered General Nurse or Operating Department Practitioner.
• Current NMC/ODP registration with no restrictions.
• Theatre experience of at least 1 year.
• Knowledge of private and operation settings.

Responsibilities

• Provide the highest standards of care to ophthalmic patients.
• Work with clinical colleagues and optometrists delivering diagnostics, pre-assessment and post-operative ophthalmic care.

The Role

What You’ll Need

• Be a Registered General Nurse or Operating Department Practitioner
• Have a current NMC/ODP registration with no restrictions
• Previous experience in an Theatre, minimum of one year
• Have knowledge in private and operation settings.
