Job summary

Optegra Eye Health Care in Great Ouseburn is seeking a Bank Scrub Nurse to join our friendly team in our York Eye Hospital. This zero hour contract offers flexible shifts, including coverage in Bradford and Wetherby hospitals.

As a key team member, you will provide high-quality patient care alongside clinical colleagues. Candidates must be a Registered General Nurse or Operating Department Practitioner with at least a year of theatre experience.

Qualifications

• Be a Registered General Nurse or Operating Department Practitioner.
• Have a current NMC/ODP registration without restrictions.
• At least one year of previous experience in a theatre setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide high standards of care to patients as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
• Work alongside clinical colleagues and optometrists for diagnostics and post-operative care.

The Role

As part of a multi-disciplinary team with an emphasis on quality patient care, you will provide the highest standards of care to our patients. You’ll work alongside clinical colleagues and optometrists delivering diagnostics, pre assessment and post operative ophthalmic care and treatment.

What You’ll Need

• Be a Registered General Nurse or Operating Department Practitioner
• Have a current NMC/ODP registration with no restrictions
• Previous experience in an Theatre, minimum of one year
• Have knowledge in private and operation settings.
