Job summary

Optegra Eye Healthcare is seeking a Bank Scrub Nurse to join our Wetherby Eye Hospital theatre team. The role requires NMC/ODP registration and at least one year of theatre experience. Flexible to cover shifts across York and Bradford.

The position is temporary part-time with an hourly rate between £21 and £32, depending on experience. You will work within a multidisciplinary team delivering diagnostics, pre-assessment and post-operative ophthalmic care.

Qualifications

• Registered General Nurse or Operating Department Practitioner.
• Current NMC/ODP registration with no restrictions.
• Minimum of one year theatre experience.
• Knowledge in private and operating settings.

Responsibilities

• Provide high standards of patient care as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
• Deliver diagnostics, pre-assessment and post-operative ophthalmic care and treatment.
• Collaborate with clinical colleagues and optometrists to support theatre activities.

The Role

As part of a multi-disciplinary team with an emphasis on quality patient care, you will provide the highest standards of care to our patients. You'll work alongside clinical colleagues and optometrists delivering diagnostics, pre assessment and post operative ophthalmic care and treatment.
